Under the soil

Everything lives on chain.

On chain means the Robinhood Chain contract itself holds the art, the rules and the data. Nothing is stored on a server.

Contract facts

Renderer: The contract builds a 32 × 32 pixel SVG with CSS animation on every tokenURI call. No IPFS, no server, no cache.
Commit: Saved at planting time and never changed: a keccak256 hash of timestamp, recipient, sender, first token id, quantity, recipe and planting id.
Reveal: keccak256(commit, hash of the planting's own Robinhood Chain block).
Stored for good by the next planting or by sprout.
The chain's EIP-2935 history contract serves block hashes for 393,168 blocks, about 11 hours.
A planting not sealed in that window is re-anchored on a later block's hash, also unknown in advance.
No seed can ever be computed inside the transaction that fixes it.
Token: ERC-721A. A whole planting is saved as one ownership record, and each wallet's Potlings are listed straight from the contract.
Royalties: ERC-2981 at 5%. The contract caps it at 10%.
Metadata: ERC-4906 update events on every tag, tonic, graft, transfer and sprout, so marketplaces refresh on their own.
Treasury: Plantings are paid in $SOIL only. The tokens stay in the contract until the owner withdraws them.
Revenue can only leave through withdraw or withdrawTo. Renouncing ownership is disabled so it can never be locked.
